Curling Funspiel
Throw some rocks and have a good time with friends!

Come out and enjoy a fun-filled day of curling with the CIM Porcupine Branch and participants from the local mining industry. Teams of four will play three 4-end games and there will be prizes and fun twists including prizes for the best dressed team!

Schedule:
9:00 am - Doors open, coffee and muffins provided
10:00 am - First games begin!

Our Annual Province wide Hockey Tournament at the MacIntrye Arena. 12 Teams will compete for glory and bragging rights as mines go head-to-head in a weekend long event.

12th Annual Golf Tournament
Out on the links for a day in the sun!
Our annual CIM Golf Tournament at the Spruce Needles Course in Timmins.
Come out and enjoy a great day of golf with others in the local mining community. Teams of four will compete in an 18-hole round of golf with a wonderful dinner and great prizes!

2024 Gala Steak and Lobster Dinner
Surf and turf for all !
Our Annual Steak & Lobster Event will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 in Timmins. Dinner will feature locally marinated Canadian AAA New York strip loin and freshly caught Atlantic lobster from the northeastern shore of Nova Scotia.
This year dinner will be followed by a comedy show with Jeff Leeson.
So come and enjoy some delicious food, comedy show and a night out with others in our local mining community!​

As part of recognizing local excellence and facilitating the exchange of knowledge within the local mining community, we are proud to offer up to $10000 scholarships to Grade 12 students from the Timmins area entering a Canadian post-secondary institution in a program or discipline that is closely related to the mining industry.
